SELL OUT CROWD EXPECTED FOR MALTA VS SPAIN

Following Malta’s 2-1 win over the Faroe Islands on Saturday, the Maltese FA has announced that the National Stadium is sold out for tomorrow night’s EURO 2020 qualifying match against Spain.

With an expected attendance of around 18,000 spectators, fans will be able to see the likes of Sergio Busquets, Sergio Ramos and Álvaro Morata in action.

16,994 fans turned out for Malta’s 2018 World Cup qualifying match against England in September 2017.

Malta are currently at the top of Euro 2020 Qualifying Group F with three points to their name following Saturday’s victory.

Spain also picked up a 2-1 win against Norway last weekend to start their qualifying campaign with a victory.

Sergio Ramos’ 71st-minute ‘Panenka’ style penalty was all it took to pick up three points following Rodrigo’s first-half strike.
