The Maltese National Team has moved up the FIFA World Ranking charts by two positions with them currently sitting in 180th place.

Helgi Kolviðsson’s Liechtenstein side are now in 182nd place with Puerto Rico in 181st position.

Ray Farrugia’s side beat the Faroe Islands 2-1 and then lost 2-0 to Spain in their opening Euro 2020 Qualifiers last month.

The national team will be back in action in June when they face Sweden and Romania.

Farrugia has publicly declared his desire to include young players in the national team setup, therefore it will come as no surprise to see the likes of Kyrian Nwoko in future squad selections.
